Reconciling Ministry

We affirm and welcome all people regardless of sexual orientation, colour, race, social status or age – as all people are children of God created in God’s image. We desire to provide a safe environment for all people, including gay and lesbian Christians, to fully express their Christian faith in community. We will strive to follow Christ’s example to be a congregation without judgment, allowing all people access to the love and support of our Christian community. Open and honest communication is always an important part of living in a diverse congregation. We ask that God lead and guide us in fulfilling our vision; and we pray for the strength to take the harder path, knowing that in the end this will serve to make us a stronger and more Christ-like community.
