Youth Can Do It

 

The Imax Movie  Under the Sea  was a great success.  Thank you everybody for coming out.

 

As you all know, we are going to  CLAY  (the Canadian Lutheran Anglican Youth conference) August 19-22, 2010 in London Ontario. Check out the website: clay2010.ca   Of course, we’re going to need to raise some funds to do this.  Right now we’re planning a bake sale, snow shoveling, a car wash, and a fund raising dinner with the congregation.  Watch this page for more details.

 

Our youth group has developed our own theme:

           to make a difference in the world,

           our church and the lives of others. 

We are looking at ways to be active in the community and are planning to help at a soup kitchen and/or food bank, clean up a local park and help individual members of the congregation who need assistance with various chores around the house.

 

Our next meeting will be at the Church on Monday January 11, 2010 at 5:00 PM
